It was a grand reception in Honour of a great man and a true Nigerian, Senator Major Gen. Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu (rtd) Ogbuagu ndi Igbo – New Pro Chancellor/Board Chairman UNN on Thursday, 4th July, 2024.

Among the dignitaries that graced the occasion (in no special order) were: Sen. Emma Nwaka, Hon Nkeiru Onyejeocha, AVM Onyike fdc (rtd), Lt Gen Ihejirika (rtd), Representative of HE Dr. Uche S Ogah OON, FCA, Several retired General’s from across Nigeria, Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus – Obi, Dr. Ejike Oji, Barr. Ugo Agugam, High Chief Kachi Iheme, Hon Ogbulogo, High Chief Cyril Okemiri, Captain Paul Nwachukwu, Mazi Nkem Onyekawa, HRH Eze Iroegbulam Victor Egbe (traditional ruler, Amaeke Ovim Autonomous Community), Bar Kaodichukwu Onuoha (Chairman, BOT Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu), Hon. Ugochukwu Ochemba (Programme Director, Ike Omar Sanda Nwanneukwu Foundation), Sir Alwell Ibeh, Engr Gladys Okoro (Ada Jesus), Chief Greg Okehi, High Chief Ebube Kanu, Barr Chijioke, etc.

The inauguration reception was brilliantly initiated and coordinated by the Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu Foundation and bountifully hosted by Dike Abia, Lt. Gen AO Ihejirika (rtd), in his Abuja residence.
